DC Socket repairs.
The DC socket is the connection from your power supply (charger) to your laptop. It is very common for this connection to break. Typical symptoms:
- Loose connection from your charger to your laptop
- Screen flickers when moving laptop while plugged in
- Charging lights fluctuate - sometimes on, at other times off
- Burning smell
If you have symptoms like this then it's likely the DC socket has broken. We replace the DC socket for a new one, test and warrant our work for 12 months – regardless of make or model.

If your screen appears dim, flickering or simply does not light up it might be that you have a faulty screen.
If we find the screen to be faulty, we can replace the screen for an (OE) screen, usually the same day or next.
